Why are your engine mounts so cheap?

I hate to be the bad guy here but I gotta point out, "you get what you pay for". so why are they so cheap? materials? "logistics"? I ran through your site and saw a $100+ engine mount for $24.95 this cant be done without some serious compromise, please explain.

No worries, it is a good and legitimate question.

The simple answer is: We own our manufacturer, and do not have to buy our parts for reselling. Also you are right our logistics team has a very cost efficient model.

As for materials we use, depending on the application the mounts serves, would be;

Rubber;
EPDM Rubber,
Natural Gum Rubber,
Viton Rubber,
Hypalon Rubber.

Please note: our manufacturer modifies rubber to suit the mount demands, as with EPDM rubber. while it is an excellent rubber it is also damaged by gas, oil, and other chemicals commonly found in a vehicle, and requires coatings to be protected in case of contact with any of the fluids.

Metal;
normally We use industry standard 4130 - Low Carbon Steel Alloy in our mounts,
however some mounts we produce have 4140 - High Tensile Steel, as due to engine design inefficiency's suffer excess stress.
we have also produced Titanium mounts, however these were a customer specific design.
